Nominate the Best of Our Region
 As a shopping and dining destination, we’ve been an active member of the Headwaters Tourism community for 35 years now. The Hills of Headwaters Tourism Association works tirelessly to promote and celebrate all the great businesses and individuals who make our region worth visiting.
So we’re returning the favour and promoting their efforts by inviting you to take part in the 2013 Taste of Tourism Awards. You can nominate a business or individual in a number of categories. It takes five minutes and sends an important message of appreciation for the people who make Headwaters great. Please go to the awards website and nominate your favourites for Artisan of the Year, Best Customer Service Experience, Tourism Innovator and more.

Mothers of Pearls Returns
with Mother/Daughter Tea
 On November 17th from 2 to 5pm, the organizers of the Mothers of Pearls event we hosted last year will return with another Mother Daughter Tea.
For $50 per person, enjoy sweets and tea, talk and togetherness along with guest speakers and photo portraits for mothers and daughters. A portion of the proceeds will go to the CNIB to help local children.

New Salad Dressing Coming Soon
 As you know, our Creamy Garlic House Dressing is available for purchase by the bottle for $8.
It’s been so popular that we’ve decided to bottle our delicious Balsamic Vinaigrette too!
Now you’ll have options, so mix it up with that salad. It’ll be available soon, in single bottles, or as a set with the Creamy Garlic.

Knit handbags
We love it when we find something that is handmade, of good quality and, bonus, is in fashion, as seen on designer runways and on the arms of celebrities.
We now have some beautiful hand-knitted handbags from a local artist. Styles range from slim iPhone carriers to larger catchalls. Features include a fabric lining (so you don’t lose your lip liner through the knit), versatile neutral colours like black, greys & beiges and various hardware and strap styles.
