Granny’s Staff Pick Their Favourite Shopping Treasures

The lovely ladies on staff at Granny Taught Us How & Heidi’s Room get to spend their days getting to know the products and talking to customers, giving them great insight, a breadth of product knowledge and lots of advice to give! They have picked a few of their favourite things to share with you while you make your holiday shopping and wish lists. Maybe something from their list will suit someone on yours.

Bonnie’s Pick: Tea Forté

"The amazing selection of teas at Granny's is my favourite gift to give for all occasions. I started drinking tea two years ago and was amazed at all the flavours to choose from. It’s like taking a trip around the world in a mug every morning! I started off safe with Classic English Breakfast, then headed to Moroccan Mint, next to Bombay Chai and finishing back home with the Harvest Apple. So many choices and none has disappointed. Go ahead, coffee lovers, and give it a try!"

Jennifer’s Pick: Pré de Provence French Soaps

Pré de Provence French Soaps“This is a line of soaps, creams and bath products. They are made in Provence France as they have been for hundreds of years.

With a vegetable base, shea enriched and all natural scents I find they are gentle for my sensitive skin.

The soaps are quadruple milled giving a rich lather and making it long lasting. The creams come in small purse sized tubes making it a perfect travel companion to combat winter dry hands."

Sue’s Pick: Meditation Rings

"My favourite gift to give anytime of the year is definitely a Meditation Ring. It not only looks beautiful but spinning it around relieves stress! Some even say you can make a wish on it :)"

Debbie’s Pick: Israeli Silver Jewelry

"My favourite thing in the store would have to be the gorgeous line of electroform silver jewelry from Israel. Every time I wear mine people comment on how unique and beautiful it is.
Of course I tell them it's from Granny's!"

Joyce’s Pick: Linen pyjamas

My pick would have to be our 100% linen pyjamas sets. Made in Europe, these PJs are both classic and elegant. They soften more and more with each wash and are perfect for lounging around the house in style. Bring the spa to your home with these luxurious PJs!

Heidi’s Pick: Barr & Co Original Scent

"This infatuation began with a soap and a lotion for my bathroom counter at home. I loved the soft, clean scent so much I chose a candle and a room spray for the restaurant. Made from aloe, Shea butter, oatmeal, milk, vanilla and vetiver…this calm and comforting scent is perfect for everyone. It's available as a soap, lotion, candle, diffuser, hand sanitizer, room spray, bath soak and even a surface cleaner. You can buy it as a gift but you will be tempted to keep it for yourself!"

Heidi’s Pick No.2: Hatley PJs

“(I'm allowed to have two…I love everything in the store!) I'm very excited to now carry the Hatley PJ line. I think this is the one gift the family should open on Christmas Eve, because there is nothing better than spending Christmas morning together in matching pyjamas! We have enough for Mom, Dad and the kids so get your cameras out and send us the pics!”

Jen’s Pick: Boot Socks with Matching Infinity Scarves

“With the cold weather closing in, I have to pick the new line of boot socks. They’re a great way to add personality over a pair of skinny jeans or leggings, peeking out above your tall boots, or folded down over short boots for a leg-warmer look. There are so many different colours, weights and funky styles to choose from, and paired with an infinity scarf to match, we’ll be warm and stylish all winter. I’ve already bought sets as gifts for friends too. The best part? The price point is amazing!”
